In a cosmopolitan Havana, Arthur meets and falls in love with Cecilia. Their idyllic aspirations for love and happiness quickly meet with complications. Fable is ultimately a moving, sincere exploration of the possibilities for love in a city defined by economic and social adversity.

Lester Hamlet (Havana, 1971) co-directed Tres veces dos (Three Times Two), which received the Silver Zenith Award for First Fiction Feature at the Montreal World Film Festival in 2008. His first solo feature-length film, Casa vieja (Old House), was presented at the Vancouver Latin American Film Festival in 2011. Both Casa vieja and Fábula have been selected at a large number of film festivals around the world, including the 38th Chicago International Film Festival, Lima Film Festival & Portland Latin American Film Festival.
