Make your mark! Be part of the VLAFF Youth Jury in 2015!
Youth from across BC between the ages of 18 and 35 are invited to be part of a youth-run jury at the 13th annual Vancouver Latin American Film Festival, September 3 - 13, 2015.
The jury will choose one winning fiction film out of ten films by new directors, and present the Youth Choice Award to the winner. Jury members will be selected based on quality of work, academic experience, and interest in Latin American culture and film.
Those selected will be recognized in VLAFF’s annual catalogue and will receive a full Festival Pass, including an invitation to the Opening and Closing Gala Events. The members of the jury must make a commitment to see each of the 10 required films during the festival and be available to meet for at least two hours during the festival to make the selection.
Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age inclusive.
How to apply
1. Download the application form here and submit a maximum 500-word original essay reviewing ONE LATIN AMERICAN FILM of your choice.
2. Please name your files as follows:
